Robotized press tending.

Our press cells automate the loading, unloading and transfer of parts between servo and mechanical presses. The robot picks the blank or preform, places it on the press bed, clears the cell before the stroke, and moves the finished part to the next stage — all synchronized with the press cycle and safety signals.

The cell integrates with the press control for handshake signals, light curtains and safe-speed monitoring, so the robot and press operate as one safe unit. Part handling can include lubrication, flipping, orientation and stacking between strokes, keeping the press running at its full cadence.

Why robotize press tending?

Press tending is hazardous, repetitive work where every cycle places the operator near a closing tool. A robot removes them from the hazard zone entirely, eliminates the risk of hand injuries, and runs the press continuously — with consistent placement that improves part quality and reduces die wear.

Key benefits:

  • Safety — operators out of the press hazard zone
  • Higher throughput — press runs at full cadence
  • Consistent placement — better part quality, less die wear
  • Continuous operation — no fatigue through breaks and shifts
  • Integrated safety — handshake and safe-speed monitoring

From single-press tending to transfer lines linking multiple press stages, we configure the solution to your part sizes, cycle times and safety requirements.
